Poster Pop is… The Art of Poster Artists on Pop Merchandise
The Art of Poster Artists on Pop Merchandise - A Brief History of Poster Pop.
Started in 1997, Poster Pop has created and sold the underground art of concert poster legends Frank Kozik, Coop, SHAG, The Pizz, Tara McPherson, and more—turning their work into stickers, shirts, and other art-merch loved worldwide.
From Int’l trade shows to Comic-Con, we built a global following. After about 2008, the retail world shifted. Poster Pop survived. In 2025, we wrapped production—but the story isn’t over.
Our new website and blog dives into Poster Pop’s history, artists, and impact. Our goal is to help fans, fellow artists and merchandisers understand art merchandising, while laying the framework for the upcoming Poster Pop Art Book.
Stay tuned.

What’s the Poster Pop Blog All About?
July 7, 2025
With the close of Poster Pop’s merchandise production earlier this year, we took a fresh look at our website—and realized it was time for a full revamp. That process inspired something new: the Poster Pop Blog.
This blog is our way to dive deep into the history, art, artists, and culture that made Poster Pop what it is. From Tiki to Tattoo, Hot Rod to Rockabilly, we’ll be sharing stories, artist spotlights, behind-the-scenes insight, and lessons learned from decades of art merchandising.
Each post helps build the foundation for our upcoming Poster Pop Art Book—a tribute to the movement we helped shape. Whether you’re a fan, artist, or merchandiser, there’s something here for you.
